Meet Steve

Steve brings over 30 years of experience as a Baptist Pastor, where he has dedicated himself to supporting individuals and guiding communities through faith, growth, and transformation. His extensive experience spans team leadership, governance, and change management, with a particular focus on not-for-profit organizations. Known for his compassionate approach, Steve has helped countless individuals and teams navigate the complexities of organizational life, fostering a sense of purpose, resilience, and spiritual depth.

Outside his professional life, Steve loves to travel and has a deep appreciation for a well-brewed cup of coffee. He is happily married to Vicki, with whom he shares three adult children and a cherished grandchild. This rich personal and professional journey enables Steve to bring both warmth and wisdom to his work at SoulSpace Pathways, where he offers services in professional supervision, spiritual direction, retreats, and pastoral coaching.

As well as being a Qualified Supervisor and Spiritual Director, Steve is a vowed member of The Order of the Mustard Seed, a global, lay movement committed to prayer, mission and justice.

Steve holds a Diploma of Biblical Studies (Burleigh College), Bachelor of Ministries (Australian College of Theology), Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction (Tabor College) and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision (Charles Sturt University/St. Mark’s College).

He is a member of the Ecumenical Spiritual Directors Association of SA
